FAQs
When dealing with new customers we are asked similar questions on a regular basis. Below we have listed these questions and answers. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact one of our dedicated Trade Consultants.
What is your lead time from order to delivery?
We generally work on a 10 - 15 day lead time for a standard kitchen but may take longer for Bespoke or Paint to Order kitchens. We understand that at times orders may be needed sooner. We will endeavour to work with our customers to meet their requirements. What brand of doors and accessories do you supply? We have built long working relationships with some of the biggest door suppliers in the UK & Ireland. We mostly supply Second Nature, 1909 & Metris by PWS. Bella, Pronto & Zurfiz by BA. Kitchen Stori by Uform. 3D Solutions by Trade Mouldings and Aisling Artisan Furniture by Andoras. When supplying accessories we wish to use only the best in the market so supply Kessebohmer & Blum fittings with all our kitchens. What kind of kitchens do you supply? We offer 2 types of kitchens at Dukes. Carcass only either rigid built or flat pack OR Complete kitchens, this means all units leave our factory assembled and ready to install i.e. doors and accessories already fitted. Occasionally some of our tall units may be flat pack for delivery purposes. Our carcasses are Cam & Dowel or Cam & Screw depending on customer preference. Does your price include delivery? We offer FREE delivery on all orders over £2,000. Any orders below this value are quoted separately and very competitively. |
How does your delivery system work?
Our kitchen carcasses and complete kitchens are delivered to your location. These units are delivered by a courier service. The units leave our premises and arrive with you 3 days later. We deliver to any address in the UK & Ireland. Who will I be in contact with when ordering from Dukes? When you have opened an account with us you will be appointed your own Trade Consultant. This individual will be responsible for all your quoting and ordering. Our Trade Consultants will endeavour to provide the best service possible and hope to build a long term working relationship. How are your kitchens transported? Our units are checked by our own staff. Once our units have been double checked the units are placed onto our own pallets which we box around to make sure that there is nothing moving around that may damage the kitchen units. What are the payment terms when ordering a kitchen? We work on a proforma basis. On order we will request a 50% deposit. The outstanding 50% will be required before the goods leave our factory. |
